Ballooning

A couple of weeks ago I went ballooning across the desert. It was my first time in a balloon and will not be my last. This is a must do for those of you coming to visit.

Our day started at 4.30am in the Wafi shopping centre carpark. From there, we were driven 45 mins out of Dubai into Sharjah, another Emirate.

It was a cool morning - probably about 18 degrees - and predawn when the balloons went up.



Each balloon basket held 20-odd people and was very large.
