Moro Frencho trippo photo... and Bahrain

Hi All

Here is the LAST installment of the France trip photos - and I am also including some pics of my recent trip to Bahrain.

I was really enjoying myself

Life in Dubai has been hot, damn hot - and humid. Work has been busy and interesting. Doing more telco than IT work at the moment. But that may change as the telcommunications, media and technology practice group is moving to Dubai Internet City and we are hoping to pick up more IT and media work. The name 'Dubai Internet City' freaked me out the first time I heard it, but it actually just a free zone, situated on Sheikh Zayed Road ( the big one in Dubai) near the Dubai Marina development. If you haven't already, it is worth googling some of these places just to see what they are doing here.

I have been to Bahrain twice in the last few weeks, working on business development and a client's project. Bahrain is a lot slower than Dubai. The car fleet is older, the buildings are older, and the roads a smaller. It was strange being across the cause-way from Saudi Arabia. Saudi scares and fascinates me. Rumour has it that it is thge largest importer of scotch whiskey in the world and yet it is a dry country. Regardless, it is a place I think I will have to see to believe.

Enjoy.

Phil, my boss
